I have a 1921S MS64 Morgan. The slab is trashed. I can no longer deal with the slab, even with my medication. If I send it in for a reholder, even with another batch of coins it will cost $10 + $8 + $19 return shipping. I don't have any others to reholder. If I bust it out I can send it in with my 'free' certificate thingy as I need a 4th coin anyway.

Do you experts think it will regrade as MS64, based upon the pictures? I think it will, but my grading skills tend to blow a bit. Thanks for any advice.

TPG grading and gambling......both start with a G. You never know. Probably come back MS65 details! Just kidding of course. Have you thought about polishing the plastic??

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

I'd have to see it in hand, but my first reaction was it was not a high-end 64. I see no need to crack it out.

Have you tried plastic polish (e.g. PlastX)?

"I can no longer deal with the slab, even with my medication." --> Thanks, I got a good chuckle from that one. :)

It looks like a 64 to me. Mid grade one--some bag marks, but nothing unusual for a Morgan.

 I feel your pain. The ham fisted clods at PCGS sent me back this coin with an employees finderprints all over the coin, forever entombed. Thanks you slobs. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Holy cow that almost looks like condensation in there.

Nice... I'd be sending that one back.

I'n my case this is an e-Bay coin, and the case is cracked at the bottom and has about a 3/4 inch chunk out of the lip that goes around the back. I'm just hoping it won't come back as an MS63 - or 'cleaned'.
