1894-O in (what I'd say is) VF-20 with rim damage. Others can assist with value and more opinions on grade.
Either you are netting it, or my eyes are worse than I thought, but that coin has better than VG detail. Also, someone will pay top of melt for a 94-O in this overall condition, so while that may be its value to you or me, our personal opinions do not necessarily mean that is all this coin is "worth".
As the others have said, it's a F-15 worth melt. But being your first Morgan, it's priceless. I know that I still have a few low grade pieces in my collection that have been there for over twenty years and I am as proud of them today as the day that I got them. There is something about that first coin that you get of a series that makes it special.
That is way high all things considered. Depending on where you purchased, is it possible to return? Either way and as Kirk said, being your first Morgan, it may be worth keeping, but if you wish to cut your losses, $30 or a little over is absolutely achievable.
Actually, there are quite a few 94-O's on eBay in this grade and price range. I didn't check to see how many have been sold, but $50 is close to what a VG-F example is being listed for: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1894O-VG-MORGAN-DOLLAR-E1124-/150886493484?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2321892d2c http://www.ebay.com/itm/1894-O-MORG...79?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2574db182b
