RIC V was published in 1927 and is agonizingly out of date. While more advanced studies and chronologies exist for most rulers, this "standard catalog" has moldered on shelves, with collector's copies becoming increasingly dogeared and worn. I love my second hand, London Central Library copy. But it sure would be nice to have all the new scholarship.
