Avoid. If you're now interest in acquiring an SLQ, it's worth considering a high(er) grade example even if it costs substantially more IHO. This is a type that quickly looses it pizazz in anything less than Ch AU grades, and sometimes can even be iffy in lower MS. Strike quality can be very important, and while I do not believe a FH necessary (especially considering the premiums on most), so instead look for a close and nicely detailed head. A well struck shield and escutcheon can be had with some searching, but at little-to-no extra cost, and usually contributes greatly to the overall eye appeal of a coin (IMO).

It all comes down to what you want, but don't rush into this. If willing to pay up and take your time, it will be worth it in the long run.

It's a common coin that appears to be accurately graded, though I would imagine you might be able to find one for a few dollars less. However, there is nothing terribly wrong with the coin from my interpretation of the images.

Thanks guys. I know the slq can be a pain grade wise so it why I came to y'all. I'm just looking to fill for a type and yet still keep that quality i seek. So while just looking for a type coin I'm not wanting something crazy or to spend to much yet also the slq being a problem coin I'm not wanting a cull coin and want to keep a level of quality.

First one looks like a dipped AU with overexposed images and the second one looks like a dipped AU with underexposed images.
