so i just bought part an old coin collection spanning 1845-1967, and a lincoln cent binder 1909 up to 76 only missing a few of the big boys. they look to have been stock from an old coin shop as they are "graded" and priced. they are dated in the early to mid 80's on the 2x2s. a lot of them look a grade or two better going by grading guides i have found online. A. would 30 years be a long enough time to re-evaluate the grades? B. anyone in my area(northside) that has a LOT of time in this hobby willing to meet up and look at them for me to give some opinions in exchange for some coins for your time? we could meet at starbucks and the coffee will be on me.
it matches exactly with the pics in my cherrypickers guide. same hump on the left bottom of the t, same E, and the motto looks the same.
so it turns out that this is not ddr-001. i believe it to be ddr-004 based on the obverse appearing to be ddo-008. the two are paired together. http://www.cointalk.com/t212465/
