What do you think: 1912 D or S?

    So, found this ugly nickel hiding out in my tube of Liberty Nickels...took a closer look and I think it may be an S. If it is, I think it's a pretty sweet find!

    What do you think?

    I believe it is a 1912-S congratulations. The S mintmark is more centered between the edge and the dot as where the D will be lower to the edge.

    I've seen quite a few 1912-D's...and this, corroded as it is, didn't look the same. There is enough of the serpentine S left to make out...pretty cool, if you ask me!

    I say S also. And I'm young and have better eyes than half of the old geezers on here :D
