This is a pattern cent - 1863 Bronze Indian Head Cent. It is a proof coin. After 10 guesses, I'll tell you what PCGS said. In addition to the # grade, don't forget to include the color (Brown, Red/Brown, Red) since it is bronze. thanks!
It's hard to grade through a scratched slab. Thoughts... 1. Red/Brown 2. Dull fields (for a proof...cleaned?) 3. Nice strike 4. Possible slight album rub I'm guessing PF64RB...but I really don't know. Nice coin...I would love to own it!
Impossible to grade proofs through images, minute hairlines are everything. I will take an educated guess at PR-63 RB.
Very nice, I don't have that one yet. I have the J-212, J-213 and the J-302. I would love to get my hands on one of the aluminum J-304s. I've been fairly actively looking for the J-299 for a while now. Where did you find it?
They said Genuine Quest Color AU Details man they are tuff on copper. just a guess a very nice coin i'll put that in my collecton any day. or PR-61 RB.
That is 10 guesses. PCGS PR62-Brown. Old green holder. I agree you cant see hairline marks thru a holder, especially with my pics, but it's got to make RB. Worth resubmitting?
Well, I averaged all 10 guesses out and it came up to be a little higher that a PR 63 RB. That is assuming that any of us how a clue of what we were talking about.
