Again the pics are a little distorted due to their size but the Her Majesty's mustache appears to be another mark from a counting machine! Is the mustache incuse or obtuse? If incuse, then it is more than likely a counting machine mark. If it is obtuse, then close-up pics are needed of the damage or error to make a more difinitive analysis. Frank

No..it is not. It's funny, I was almost insulted. LOL! Acadians have their own language all together. A lot of english is thrown in our french and a lot of words are not used in either french so it can be difficult to interact.

Suvoth, Based on what I can see from the pics and your statement, I would guess that it is a counting machine mark (damage)! However, it is possible that it is a Struck Through Error. Much better pics with close-ups of Her Majesty's lip are needed to make a better analysis but even then, the exact cause may be hard to determine without the coin in hand. Frank
Frank,a strike through error produces a ghosting effect.Perhaps there could have been some rubbish getting in between the dies,such as a staple.That would produce a mustache shape. Aidan.
