This coin is in a NGC holder. The coin is semi PL. Anyone care to guess the grade?

Too me I would say 64/65 range - depending on the luster in hand. Gets kind of confusing to me when I look at the larger pictures - almost looks like luster breaks on the high points. Bottom line is the pictures make the coin look sweet to me.

I'm not able to tell if its wear or weak strike, but I'd like the coin at a 58 if some of the high points are rub and as a 63/64 if its just weak. There is alot of chatter in the left obverse field, IMO.

I'm not seeing it... but I'm old and don't see as well as I use to, even with my 2.25 magnifiers.

Looks like a proof strike to me...?

It's gotta have graded "gem" (65 or higher) at NGC, although I'm not sure if that would've been the result if submitted to PCGS.

It's not a proof, there are a few strike weakness that confirm that. But it is absolutely gorgeous.

Can't tell luster, but the coin looks clean enough to go 64. Don't feel real confident in my ability to grade this one from pics -- it's clearly a VERY nice coin and it wouldn't at all surprise me if NGC awarded a * to this coin.

I'd give it an MS-OMG because that is a freakin' beautiful quarter! Really I don't see anything to indicate it wouldn't be a MS65+ coin. Although I have to ask what is goin on in between United and States on the reverse? Looks like a die crack?

Purely a matter of my personal taste, but I just don't like that coin. It sure does have a nice strike though.
