Culver City man charged in World War II nickel scam

    There were only 8 buyers at $5,750 a bag, but he listed 13 bags. some of the buyers may have purchased more than one bag. If all 13 bags were purchased then

    13 X 5750 = $74,750

    Still doesn't fit for a $60,000 loss. But we have that later email that said he still had two bags. If only eleven bags were sold to the 8 people

    11 X 5750 = $63,250, less the paypal and ebay fees would come pretty close to the $60,000 figure.
