The 1995 Penny on dime error is no longer a unique date. Up on Teletrade is another example. http://teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=3336&lot=3631#n That is all.
I don't really care to waste my time following this, so please let us know if the bidding reaches $7 million or more. Chris
I'm following this one just out of the idle curiosity of how much the market will actually support for such a coin.
Because I am just ornery, but its true. I have said before his IS a very nice example of that type of error. Not saying anything about its realizable value, but would say if there is a range in which these sell in, his should be near the upper end of that range. Plus, I love it that he loves his coin so much. This hobby needs passion.
TRUE! Social Skill are always a Plus.. Compare that ANACS 1995 with MS64 Double Denomination due of lack of expertised of slabber that coin rim edges with my opinion has been damaged due of wrong slab or plastic holder, the slabber should use the penny holder instead of dime holder. Second, Do they have a great story to tell on this coin? Just always remember 1995 Penny On Dime-ACG-Mint was certified in Public at Baltimore Coin Show in Maryland,March 2000 by Mr. Alan Hager the Inventor of slabbing coins/cards. The value of a coin is depends on a buyer deep pocket. Now if the KING Rules said your 1995 Penny On Dime is the Most valuable Coin in the World can you all still say NO? For Now this Coin is NOT FOR SALE. http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/47654-my-1995-double-denomination-unique?in=user For your all Information, I am also a member of error world I think the very first Internet Coin Forum on 1999 by Founder,Jim Laz , I think we have about 600 members during that time. So my coin was already a big subject on that forum when the coin is not Certified yet. I called it eleven cent 95. So let 's see how much that coin sell..TELETRADE in 4 days.
Oy vey! I'd make up a great story too if I thought it would net me an extra 8 million plus. Of course it would only be that.... a story. How about putting yours up - as-is - in a real auction and see what it sells for. Drop the nonsense and put your money (or coin) where your mouth is, Redwin.
I already did, I am very well Satisfied with the outcome of my Auction this year. For Now is NOT For Sale.. I really Love my Penny On Dime 1995. Money Now is NOT important...Unless, the man behind it KEEP his word then maybe, maybe, I will let my coin go with a NEW OWNER.
