I have seen a barber coin that is smaller than a quarter and bigger than a dime. The year is 1907 and the liberty head is facing to the left and not the right. If anyone has any idea what it is or might be then please let me know asap!

    It's not a coin.

    What is it then?

The coin that fits that description, would be a Liberty Head Nickel. Charles Barber did design the coin, but the image of Liberty is different than what is on his silver pieces.

Pics would be a big help.

I will post pics this afternoon for sure. This coin looks exactly like a barber coin, has the wreath on the back, and the serif for the year is the same. The coin is very worn too. I will post pics as soon as I get off work.

Bingo, Liberty Nickel would be my guess as well.

Yup, that's definitely it, we found it after I posted. It is not even close to being as nice as the one in your pic, mikem2000.
