I'm willing to bet that they sell it for that price. Most places have been sold out of the 7070 for a while and people will pay crazy prices for the coin albums they need. I have paid over $100 for a US Philippine album before.
I don't see it. They are out there, both nice used and new old stock. It's not like an album that was obscure to begin with, then out of production for a decade. It is a temporary shortage as they revise the album, nothing more. Anyway, I just thought I'd share. I got mine, and just recently, for dirt cheap. Maybe I should flip it? :devil:
You can ask anything for anything, doesn't mean you will get it though. That book could sit there forever without a single person interested in buying it.
Does anyone know when the updated 7070 albums will become available? I have the Dansco company phone number which I will call later today once they open. I will update this if I hear anything worth posting. I want to start a 7070 album, but would like to go with the most up to date one (even though I despise the presidential dollars).
I spoke with Dansco's sales representative and she said they are revising it now. She said it will not be available in 2012, but probably in 2013. She could not tell me what additions will be made to the original 7070 albums. I wonder if they will add the early Flowing Hair denominations. I kind of hope not...so I can actually fill it some day.
