heading over to the bank in a little bit, anything specifc I should ask for?

    Anything I should ask for that would increase my chances of getting a few wheat pennies? I havn't had much luck lately and need some ideas haha thanks for any help

    Depending on the bank. You may be able to ask for customer wrapped rolls and or machine wrapped rolls. But that's about all you can do.

    You could also go in and say, "Give me only your high yielding wheat penny rolls!!". But i'm not sure it would help much.

    Haha, well the teller I usually go to might be able to help me out with that cause he helped me get started with coin collecting. I think if I ask him to see the hand wrapped rolls I might find a AU roll like I did a few months ago.

    AU rolls are always nice to find. Also :welcome: to Cointalk.

    I have my tellers on a reward programme, yesterday I had to go buy a box of Sunkist candy for a branch near here that ordered me up a box that produced a 1911. I tell them if I find a 100 year or more old coin in the box that they get a box of my favourite candy:

    It is amazing what a game changer that box of candy is. After the branch gets them, I start getting calls from them when the goodies come in. They also freely order coin for me. Tellers like sweets.
