I found these at the end of July, and have been meaning to post. Found them in a box of nickels:

    2012-07-30_19-17-53_192.jpg

    7 V Nickels (1908, 2 x 1909, 1910, 1911, 2x 1912)
    1 Buffalo (1936)
1 1938 Jefferson (in great shape)
    1 1945 War Nickel
    1 2009 D Jefferson

and some kind of coin from United Arab Emirates.

Fantastic box. I love finding V nickels!

That's a great find daship! Congrats! I've only found one V Nickel in a box. I had to come up with my own grade for it. AP, Almost Poor. I could only tell that it was a V nickel cause I could barely make out the outline of Liberty's head and a couple of stars.

Thanks! I am up to 17 V nickels so far. None of them are in great shape, but I just love them. My oldest is from 1892. There is something so cool about finding coins that old!

Yeah. It has taken a year and a half, but my hit rate has been pretty good for those. I usually do 2 or 3 boxes of nickels a week. I have much better results with nickels than dimes or halves, here in Chicago at least.

That's interesting. I'd think chicago would be crummy for searching of any denomination.

    Two boxes of dimes today.

Box 1 gave up my oldest foreign coin from a roll, but no silver:

I found this coin in a bag of coins i purchased not sure what it is or if it is even authentic. Looks old expect for the WRL stamp on both sides. The stamp makes me think it is a reproduction could someone help me out. Sorry for the bad pictures didnt have a great camera. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
