If I had bolt cutters they would definitely be my first choice. If you got 'em use 'em.

By the way (3rd post on this tread today, this is getting rediculous) I gout a harris coin album with 60 pockets, so, I just wanted to make sure there isn't any pvc. Any horror stories on these?

1915 Matte Proof Lincoln. Just got this in the mail on Friday. Pretty cool color on this one -- a mix of teal green, olive green, gold, and deep maroon. But I also stumbled into a cool new photograpic technique. I shot this with my iPhone next to an east facing window in the early afternoon (around 1pm or so). The window was inches to my right, the slab tilted towards the right to catch the indirect sunlight wafting though the window, and the iPhone camera was pointing straight down towards the wood floor in my office. Apparently there was enough indirect sunlight reflecting off the slab that my iPhone camera aperture closed enough that it caused my wood floor "background" to appear nearly black (like my room was dark, which it wasn't). And since my thumb was not reflecting very much light either, it appears kind of dark as well (even though my office was well lit by 2 windows). Note that I didn't "Photoshop" this, making the background black, this is the way the raw image turned out. Stumbling onto this photographic technique was a pure accident! In any case, I think this looks really cool.

Great job on the photo and the pickup.

Aside from the VDB, eye appealing 1915's might be the toughest year to find from PR65 and up.

Your set looks amazing so far. I can't wait to see what comes next.

2006 American Silver Eagle. PCGS MS69. I think this is the highest PCGS-graded colorfully toned ASE that I have ever seen. Most of these colorfully-toned PCGS-graded ASE's, that I have seen at least, are in the MS64 to MS68 range. I have never seen a colorfully toned MS70 ASE (not saying one doesnt exist out there somewhere). The color on this one was just so striking and beautiful that I just had to have it. It's actually my first colorfully-toned example of this type that I own.

Winged, this is not toned. It's radioactive. Be careful. Wash your hands before eating anything.;)

Just picked this off the 'bay for $14 and change (shipping included). Beautiful speckled wood toning on the obverse and more lightly streaky toning on the reverse. This one is a 1917; the teen years seem to have had a lot of woodies. IMHO, with it's luster it's probably a choice AU. I think I'll post this one on the Woody thread! Seller's pics are below.
