hi everyone. i recently inherited a small coin and bill collection from my uncle. most of the coins in the group are international coins which i have been able to evaluate online. one coin that stood out is a 1847 seated liberty dollar coin. i know there are many fakes of old american coins, but most have inconsistent markings for the time period. some of the letters are worn out and a little bit flat like the N in one. i have never handled american currency of this age and most of you know a heck of a lot more than i do about this stuff. so what is your opinion on the coin, does it appear real? and what is its value?

Sorry but that one is a fake.

Does it stick to a magnet?

it doesn't stick to a magnet, and it rings when dropped on wood. what makes you say its a fake?
