That is surely a good price on those Krause catalogs. However, the 2001-Date book will be outdated quick. But.... still, for 13 bucks, good buy. Now you just have a few Krause books to buy for earlier coinage.
Three books are a start for me. I really like the small and very outdated 2006 Coins of Nothern Europe & Russia. Without these books I would be clueless on World coins.
Those "telephone books" are always fun. WHen I am bored sometimes pull one of them out at random, and start looking over a country at random. Its never a bad thing to study about coins.
Antique stores and malls are also a good place to look for these. I picked up a Krause standard catalog of world coins in nearly new condition for $3.50 at a mall a while back. It's a 1981 edition but I don't really have a need for the newer coins anyway.
