Bent coins are usually Post Mint Damage(PMD), which means it was damaged after it was minted and isn't worth more than face value(unless silver or gold). We'd need a pic to be sure

People can't respond instantly on here. Take a picture of the cent, it's worth at least a couple cents. The dime is pmd, so it's worth a dime.

I would send it into the ANACS graders and slabbing for verification, grading and slabbing.

    http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/FAQSubmitting.aspx

After that, submit it to CAC

The dime was probably used as a screwdriver. Toss it in your reject pile or spend it. It's worth a dime.

This is based on the blurry photos. My opinion may change when clearer pics are posted.

I have avoided getting into the arguements over whether your flooding the forums with posts was apppropriate or not but giving this as advice to a brand new member is deffinately not appropriate. Telling someone who comes to this site asking for advice that they should just ignore us and spent the money to confirm that something is just post mint damage isn't right.

I agree, everyone was new at one time, and giving them the right information is key to getting new collectors in the hobby, people will search this on google and see what you said.
