value of a 1872 1c indian with the variety -rev of 69

    cropped.jpg does anyone know how or if the value is determined on a variety in the ngc site? I ahve the above ,mentioned coin and am very interested to know. The comments indicate it is a very rare coin, the coin in G-4 is worth 90.00,so i think it would be alot more with the variety. Thanks

    no, its in a glass case and cant get a clear photo. It;s listed on ngc but that all I can find.

    Are you referring to a shallow N reverse?

    You say that in every post you make. Please take them out of the glass and photograph them if you would like answers.

    The coin is generally valued at 1.5 - 2.0x normal. there are several different Obverse die pair, and each has a different snow#, I believe NGC will just use the FS listing in their VP series ( $12 extra), but as corroded as that coin is there, it will almost assuredly not be graded. IMO.
