Would this be a trail die? 2012-P Dime

    Here is the coin:

    Trail dies are a new animal to me, so I have approx. zippy idea what to look for. From some listings I've seen, this looks like it may be close.

    Sorry for the photo quality. The dime is very shiny and I had to use my light diffuser to get these shots... hopefully they're clear enough.

    Looks like a worn die to me? Curious to see what others say.

    I'm going to try to get a better pic.

    It looks much cooler through a loupe, the spikes off the letters in LIBERTY are really pronounced (again, I have zero knowledge of trail dies, so I'm not even sure if that is a good thing).

    In your last photo the coin looks like it may have been doublestruck with a small offset between strikes. your camera may have just caused it to look this way. I can see what looks like part of another date below the date and another P mintmark .

    Die deterioration. A very worn die.
