1976D 50C Error "INDEPENDENCE HALl"

    I have a bicentenial 1976D Half Dollar where the last L is missing it's bottom making it look like a "l". Sorry that I don't have a picture at the moment but I'll try to post some...could this be a error worth holding on to?

    Could be a filled or worn die. Probably not worth much unless it's a persistant error.

    Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen... Welcome to coin talk! Jack is right. Maybe a small premium paid by someone that collects error coins. I once sold a quarter for 15 bucks because it was missing some letters in the word Liberty. Who knows.
