I am interested in the US national parks quarters. I figured that I could buy a proof set for each year of the series. It began in 2010 and I believe it ends in 2021. What are your opinions or thoughts on the series.

I have interest in these also. I have been collecting the parks quarters since they first came out.

Based on what I see "selling" at ebay and local coin shops, my advice is that you start accumulating the SILVER proof sets. Much less mintage and can appreciate much more if spot price silver moves up.

It really depends what your goal is--- resale, gifting, passing on as an inheritance or just plain collecting them as a hobbie. I have always found that no matter what, get the BEST you can afford.

I agree entirely with Witty. Get the best you can afford. I get both the Proof set and the Silver Proof set. If they appreciate in price, well and good. If they don't, I say so what....Hey, I like them and that's what matters to me.:p
