By 1782 Peter Syversant was real dead and I'm not certain he was much of a diplomat.

:hail:As a child growing up in Manhatten in the 1950's I would come across old Dutch VOC pennies from time to time in my roll searching. They are the exact same size and weight of Lincoln cents of the time. Now... as for Dutch worldwide relations they have much to answer for :::
    1. Where does all that water from their dikes go ?? Answer, flooding New Orleans???
    2. The incidious Dutch plot to make the world fat on Heinekeins and Dutch chocolate !!! Think about it !!!
