good evening, was wondering if anyonecould tell me an approximtea grade and price of these two coins my wife got em for me at an estate sale i think she did well 1796 britain one penny 1876 spain 5 peseta i tried to take good close up pics any hekp is appreciated sincerely qsilver007
How much did she pay? The "cartwheel" penny is worth $20-$30 (at least from that side it looks like it is in F condition) . They are quite popular on eBay, especially in higher grades. The Spanish 5 pesetas (looks like VF condition) is 0.9000 silver, 0.7234 oz and it is worth $25 - $40. These are quite common and many were minted for this type. In any case, both are very nice coins... And what a sweet gesture from your wife! Congratulations, monetarium
i think having a wife whos willing to buy you coins is worth more than anything ... lucky you :thumb:
May be she should start buying the coins. Sounds like she has a good eye for value and nice coins too. Congrats.
