Wow, those are some amazing errors they have for sale right now. Dang, I wish I didn't have to save my money for other things right now, or else I would jump on a few of those!

Hello everyone...as I continue to fight my disease I am forced to put up my notes at auction again..upcoming Heritage Auction in Oct or the FUN show. Small size collection going up with errors and stars. If you recall I collected a variety of off-sets and a wide selection of stars including the full set of 1934C Stars and regular issue notes out of the NY FRB.

Wish I did not have to do this but but it has come to it..so keep an open eye for them. Trying to battle this Big "C"

    Best wishes to all..

Good luck in your battle Rickie, and I hope you are able to stomp it out for good this time. On another note, is the "Rickey Collection" from Lyn Knight the one you sold before?

    Best wishes in the meantime.

Thank you for the wishes.. back at doc's in a few weeks.
No, the Rickey Collection is not affilated with my Small Size Collection. If my memory is correct the Rickey Collection was quite extensive....mine was just related to a FRB of NY.

    Regards,

Stay the course, Rick. I can't imagine how tough it must be, but we're all pulling for you.

A sheet of notes is first printed with the reverse image and allowed to dry. Once dry, the sheets are transferred to a different press to have the obverse (face) printed. This error happens when a sheet of notes has the reverse printed with one denomination and is sent to the wrong press and has a different denomination printed on the obverse.

It was actually a more common error to find on large size notes because some large size sheets had more than one denomination printed on it, like the $1,$1,$1, $2 and the $10,$10,$10,$20 layout.
