An Infamous Coin

I always wanted one of these and I finally got one, abit not in the best grade. I love this coin and it made the trip down to Philadelphia workwhile

The design is good. It's the font used on that side that spoils it in my opinion.

I like this coin a lot, though I"m surprised you didn't have one if you wanted one. They're pretty common. I was buying them for 25 cents and selling them for $2 on eBay for awhile until the coin shop I go to started charging more for them.

Yeah, I am kinda of surprised you didn't have one yet too. They also made commemorative little papers to go with this coins, (aftermarket sales I believe), and sold them a lot too. I have two such pieces from junk lots.

However, cannot argue with the man. One of the greatest visionaries of the 20th century.

 

You shoulda said something, I've got a bag full that I give away to yns.

 

I'm always open to trading for another one. This one is pretty raggedy.

 

I am a great fan of the person, but not the design. XD

 

I think itis one of the great designs ever done Thank god they didn't kill it by putting it on the quarter for 7 decades.
