Hi I have a dollar bill that is in perfect condition no folds or creases it is a 2006 series and has a serial number of all 7's. I am wondering if anyone knows if it has any value?
this is the only picture i have i will post better pictures in a few days. if its in great shape what could u sell it for?
Has absolute value especially in that condition. Several hundred dollars. Fact that it is all 7's and I bet you can get anywhere from $400 and up. Very nice note.
wow, if what MEC2 is saying is right in terms of value, nevermind. darn. anyways, how did you get that. don't tell me you found it, lol.
Welcome! Cool note! No offense intended, but does the note mean anything to you or is it just the money? Are you a collector or...?
none taken. but no I am not a collector and I am trying to sell it I have had a guy offer me 800 but I did not want to sell it then find out its worth more.
It will always be worth more to someone. With that attitude you will never sell anything And yes I'd think that would be a fair offer.
I was just saying i wanted to know that the offer was fair and that it wasnt worth alot more then that. I am very new to this and just trying to get some advise!
It's hard to say what someone will pay. For instance, last week a new member posted scans of an error $2 note with mismatched serial number prefixs (B-A/H-A). The note was VF at best, and I guessed value at $100-$150. The note sold over on the "Where's George" Forum for over $250........so you never know. Some solid serial numbers are worth more than others. Traditionaly, solid 1's, 9's, and 8's sell for more than other numbers. I think $800 was a fair offer, but, what do I know?
You *might* get more for it but I think $800 is a fair offer - you definitely weren't getting lowballed.
