Is this a 1943D Doubled Mintmark?

I just discovered it on a small cent.

If there is one, it seems very faint. Any thoughts on this?

The coin is in excellent condition.

    dsmith23 Gotta get 'em all

There are quite a few on coppercoins, does it look like any of those?

Click on die variety search and go from there.

Thanks for the link. Following picture looks a bit similar. $30 at most. That answers my question if its worth "something".

It is cool, but there is not much of a premium, unless you find a specific collector. IE, I had a small 'cud' collection and one bidder was winning all my auctions, i contacted him and he bought all my cuds at more than I was starting them for. He was trying to make a set of 1941-present cents, all with cuds.

Something you have to keep in mind with the 43-D is that there is a die deterioration example too. The OP's coin fits this bill more so than the actual Doubled Die variety.

It is a deterioration of the die that caused his coin and some of the others shown. It's not a RPM.
