is it worth more than face? it is crisp unc. im wondering if its worth more than face... because of its serial
Not really. To me, the only thing special about that bill is that it's $100. The higher a denomination you go with the bills, whether repeater or radar, the market doesn't increase the bills value as does a $1 bill.
I can tell you that it has a "coolness factor" (from www.coolnumbers.com) of 88.0%, since it has 1 triple and 2 pairs of the same digit, 4 unique digits, and since the sum of all the digits is 50. I'll also assume that this is a fairly new CU $100 note, which means that though the S/N is interesting, it's not enough to carry it much past $100.00. If it is truly C/U though, my suggestion to you is (if affordable) tuck it away somewhere where it will remain safe, dry, and flat, and in about 20 years, you'll have something that is potentially worth something. (That's what I do with CU $20s, $50s, and $100s - it's a great way to save money and have potential valuable bills later on!) Not a bad find though! AJM
Not a radar... not even a repeater... you might be able to pull off a reverse repeater, but that would be it. A radar would have had to been 36966963 or a repeater would be 36963696
oh right right. I was thinking of a radar of repeating numbers... -- or something. it would still be more special, eh?
