Does anyone know the value of a 1934 $100 C (Philadelphia) Star Note with serial number C00003883*. I have attached a photo.
It's hard to see details, but a low number and a star, helps. Except in this case, the number of printed stars was small. Light green color. #'s started at C000823* and ended at C0002555* [1732], total production of all notes was 2,776,800. The stars listed in "Small-Size U. S. Paper Money" 9th edition has the retail in VF as $400.00, CHCU as $2000.00. So, it's a keeper. Great find.
