Uhm... ROFL LMHO!!! A rare holded coin?! Bwahahah! Nice, $1,500 for a damaged coin I can get for 3 cents! http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-HOLED-...366?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43b07ebb6e
So who should be rolling on the floor laughing; the guy selling it as a way to draw people to his listings, or the kid laughing and thinking him a fool while not grasping the fact he just helped advertise?
Really, is business that bad that you have to stoop to this level for recognition? Definitely a seller I will never buy from.
LOL! Man, if the coin sells I'm going to the coin dealer for teen wheats and drilling a hole in them, I'll Make MILLIONS *No I actually won't, just a joke*
Why do you assume business is bad? It is probably safe to assume that this guy knows darn well no one will buy it, and even if someone did, its doubtful that he would go through with it. The seller makes it very clear this is a joke in the title, and even goes as far as to say its damaged. "Stooping" this level is really no different than countless other businesses running idiotic promotions.. think car dealers that send out thousands of useless keys offering a "free car" just to get people on the lot. Their only purpose is to get people into the showroom, and is the same as this guy is doing. If it works, good for him. If not, what real harm is done? Why? Will you never buy from any other business who runs a poor taste promotion? How about Taco Bell; if you liked their product, would you never eat there again because of their ads offering free tacos if Mir crashed into their sign? I could give countless examples of similarly tasteless advertising, but it never ceases to amaze me how some hold generic coin dealers (or sellers, especially those who sell widgets and dreck) to a different set of rules than they would most other businesses. If this seller has something you like and the price is fair (in your opinion), is it really wise to avoid them over something this trivial? That said, I do believe this type of thing to be in poor taste, but to each his own. The point is to look at the whole picture and not to judge someone on a single, stupid-yet-harmless act.
Don't buy it because of the coin and it's rich history of test driving a new Craftsman drill. But do it because you'll earn a whopping $27.90 in eBay bucks. Now that's what matters :thumb:

People not receiving items, receiving damaged/destroyed/badly packaged items, using "my phone was down" as an excuse to not respond, People winning auctions that then just 'disappear' and winning auctions for items that, oh, now I can't find it..... Where's the 'block seller' option?
