What's a good way to store nickels?

I've been getting rolls of nickels every time I go to the bank. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think in 30 years they'll be worth more than the 5 cents they are today.

The real problem is how to store them. I found on eBay you can buy nickel bank boxes, but they cost quite a bit of money. I could see using them for war-nickels or something more valuable. But I can't justify spending money on containers that cost 50% of the value of the coins they contain.

Any cheap ways to store nickels in a nice, orderly fashion? I've only got 10 rolls so far, but I expect in a few years the number will be much harder to manage.

If you get boxes of rolls of coins from your bank, you can level them as they are.

The most effective (and orderly) way is to just buy a $100 dollar box of nickels from the bank, that way your coins are already pre-packaged. If you don't plan of tying up that much doe, you can always ask your local back if they have any empties :)

You can use military ammo cans. You can pick them up for around $7-$9 each and can hold a lot of rolls. They are also heavy duty with handles, and stack well.

If you don't mess with the rubber seal, they are air and water tight, too.

Purposely store them improperly, they will be worth much more if they all naturally tone.

If you can't find military ammo boxes Bass Pro shops sell
plastic ammo boxes. I think they're for shot gun shells.
