My top 5 could be ...

    1. Jefferson Nickels
    2. Buffalo Nickels
    3. Franklin Halves
    4. Pre 64 silver Washington Quarters
    5. 1908-1929 Indian Head Half Eagles $5.00 gold ( even though I don't own one at present )

This is tough, surely my top three are right, the rest could be any beautiful example of most any classic US coin.
It would be easier to list my least favorite US coins.

    Indeed, I agree.

    However, I'd rank them differently.

    I prefer #2, all those I can't afford.

    Sigh...

    My five favorite series-

    1) Reeded Edge half dollar
    2) Barber half dollar
    3) Draped Bust half dollar
    4) Washington quarter
    5) Colonial coinage

The inclusion of colonial coinage could be debated since it might not be viewed as a distinct series. Regardless, I would have inlcuded "Type" as the number one choice, but again most folks might not agree with the use of that term for a series.
