Hello Everyone! Today while coin roll hunting I came across a 1982 penny that I'm not sure if its a double-die on the "In God We Trust" or if it's just smudged a bit (Although now with the better photos It's looking more like just a bit of smudging). Any help would be greatly appreciated:smile!

Not sure what you're looking at??

With those pictures, it's impossible for me to be sure, but I don't see any doubling anywhere...

Yeah sorry they didn't turn out very well but I'm uploading some new ones that will probably be better.

Put a photo of the edge next to the edge of another cent. It appears from the photo that the rim is higher than usual and that and the compression of the motto and the L in Liberty would be consistant with a "dryer cent", one that rolled around and round inthe drum, and slowly compressed the coin towards the middle. Best guess :) and no doubling visible. Not mint made.

    Welcome to the Forum!
