The B-1 rev die doesn't have a dot after the C. And the attribution does check out. Doug44, the book on the bust quarters was by Browning. There have recently been two new books published on the quarters and the current reference is Early Quarter Dollars of the United States Mint by Rea, Peerson, Karoleff, and Kovach. The quarter book still uses the old Browning numbers.
As usual, Conder is right. Here is a link where they have a B-1, http://www.dickosburn.com/1834-capped-bust-quarter-xf45.html It shows the same weird placed of the air hole on the upper beak, as well as a more straight beak, the two things I was concerned about. So it definitely appears to be a B-1 1834 die match.
I'm still not convinced. There are little bubbles on the neck not on the other coin. There is tooling on top of the cap. The noses still don't match. The ebay one has a little cute hump on the end of the nose.
