What an excellent and timely thread! I've learned lots here, so naturally the below isn't unique... 1. To grade better with Morgans, AU50-MS65. 2. Sell some. 3. Be more picky at auctions. 4. Learn more about world 90% and bullion. 5. Continue to involve the kids. 6. Get something slabbed.
Continuing what I was doing in 2011: -- Getting more MS IHC's. If it continues at the 2011 pace that means 8-10 new ones. -- Getting 1-2 coins to fill some holes in my type set. Everything I need is in the 1790's.
I want to learn how to artificially tone common date silver coins and sell them for big $$$ on eBay!!
My main goal would be to focus a little more time cataloging my collection and be better organized. Also never over bid on a item simply because it is on my want list my worst buys of this year have all been due me over spending on items and always sell parts of my collection when opportunity presents itself (like when Silver hit 45+).
I am just enjoying a renewed interest in the hobby after a coupla years off, and I really look forward to attending another coin show....... But Yeah, I got a shopping list too........
Well I just bought a copy stand to mount my camera on, so that should help with my coin photography. I have bought around 150 coins so far this year, (not counting a couple bulk lots), so from a volume perspective I am down.
