Widow's mite

    Does any one know where to get one of the Widow's Mite coins? It is the coin mentioned in the Bible when the widow put a coin in the offering worth about 2cents.

    Is that an actual coin or a Replica?

    Its real, I get alot of my coins from that dealer. He's one of the best to buy from on a budget.

    Actually, that example is better than normal. You see an awful lot of bad strikes, corrosion, etc on these coins. $12 is relatively cheap enough. You can get them cheaper, but only if you buy volume. For just one coin, that is a good price.

    Btw the real name for the coin is a lepton. A mite was a dutch coin sometimes used in England at the time of King James bible, so they used a word they thought the laymen could understand, same thing as calling a denari a penny.
