    Hi all,

Got this coin up in Trufant, MI this week at a flea market:

Getting a photo of this was quite painful.

Does it look like an RPM or something else? I know I am the king of seeing phantom errors, so I wanted some other eyes to check this out.

I bought this to fill one of my few remaining spots in my Whitman folder, but took a closer look before putting in my book.

Thoughts? The coin is quite nice and I didn't pay much over face value, so I'm hoping it is a RPM.

As always, thanks for entertaining my posts!

Die deterioration doubling was a common occurrance for these coins.

Don't feel alone... You're not the first person I've seen mistake DDD on the coin's mintmark for an RPM. At least you didn't go as far as to list it on eBay for crazy $$$ like many others would've............ :p

Yeah I didn't go crazy, I only had it listed for $375... I guess I'll lower the price $5 or so. Thanks for the sanity check, y'all!
