[h=3]Japan Aomori Silver Coin 100 Yuan - 47 Prefectures Coin Program[/h] Perched on the top of Island of Honshu, which is the main island of Japan, the Aomori Prefecture is a rugged land surrounded by water and split in the middle by the Ou mountains. Because of this, the western side and eastern side can have dramatically different weather. Btw Ruben, double names similar to NY, NY are actually pretty common in Asia. The city is older than the prefecture or district, so the district is actually named after the city. My wife is from Lampang, Lampang Thailand, and lived in Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, (although technically muang Lampang, Lampang, with muang meaning city). If anyone knows Japan culturally, I would love to hear the meaning behind the masked heads in the parade.
