i came across this 1953 s in a big jar i just got of 900 s coins and ususualy there is a space between the date and mintmark ? or i'm maybe wrong which is it i value eveybodys opiinion thanks
back when this coin was made the mintmarks were put on the coin dies by hand so they are never in the same area from one die to the others.. no added value
i feel sorry for the peron that had that jobthanks for your info i like coins that are odd so thats a win win for me
good coin to keep anyway if you like it. I imagine the older die makers had a tough job trying to get things done right.
