Looking through a box of cents and I came across this 2006 Lincoln. Looks like his ear has chunk missing out of it. What do ya'll think? Sorry about the pics, best I can do for the moment. My macro setting doesn't seem to let me get close enough. Had to do some redneck engineering to even get these pics.
I know this is nothing spectacular, by any stretch of the imagination, but I thought it was a bit odd and I was curious. Maybe I just felt like talking since my wife is not home. At least it's not another "double die" question. I should at least get points for that.
This reminds me......................................... my entire photo setup is made of tinker toys And the light is siting on a couple of boxes and albums I'm not using. I have yet to test it. I actualy have a set for slabed coins(total slabed coins in collection:1), one for coins in 2x2's, and one for loose coins. But I have yet to spend a cent on my coin photography:smile. How is that for redneck engineering?:nerd:
You are a true redneck engineer. I'm just a redneck engineer in training. I'm not worthy to be in your presence! I'm just using my led flashlight balanced on anything I can find to shine light on the coin. I had to use my wife's 100 dollar camera to get a decent picture instead of my cannon rebel. :headbang:
I find it interesting that I made the slabed coin photo thing first, as I only have one in a slab, and it cost 4 bucks
