1836 Capped Bust Half - What us the grade?

    BTW - these new slabs your supposded to be any to see the rims. How do you do that? I can't see anythign

    looks XF or AU. but sometimes this series even has MS coins that blur the lines between MS and AU.

    My guess is AU 50, but I could see anything from XF 45 to MS 63 on this one -- the photos simply don't do enough to tell us about the field luster and obverse wear pattern.

    I'm finding it very hard to take pictures through the slab. It reflects the focus beam and the plastic has become glass like, with a lot of reflection.

    AU 53. The strike is on the weak side, but it is still showing some wear.

    Kind of hard to through in #s from a pick , especially for a Bust half , who knows how the strike was . Hows the luster . is there ant cartwheel on this beauty ?
