Holy crap, I got so pumped. I felt a huge difference between a 1983-P and a 1983-D. the 1983-D was weighing more, Yet i don't have a scale. Am i exited for nothing? Do i have the realio dealio? Sorry, I don't have a camera either!

How would we know we have no picture and you have no scale?

C'mon, Ricky. You know better than that. Or are you pulling our legs?

No scale , that's the only way you'll tell . But it's highly unlikely , like finding a MS-67 R , '09-S-VDB in pocket change . You could make a make shift scale or take it to your local PO . tell them you want to ship a bunch of them and need the weight .

Make a simple balance scale with a pencil and a ruler and compare it with pre/post 1982 cents.

Postal scale won't help. They weight to an accuracy of .1 OZ or 3 grams.

Without an accurate weight there is no way to answer the question.

Yes, you are exited for nothing. Exit, stage left.
