Due a set of unfortunate events I must must seLL EVERY COIN. First where would I list the coins? IS this the proper forum to use? I have WL(WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLARS), some Franklin halves, and a 99 % commpelte set IKES. Missing the infamous 1972 type 2. Also there are about twelve folders of LMC'S and two are UNC,. Thanks for any advice forthcoming. zeke
Sorry to hear that you must sell your collection. You can start by listing everything in the "for sale" section on CT. Good Luck
Howdy zeke, sorry for your misfortune. But to answer your question, no this is not the proper section of the forum to use to sell them. If you wish to try and offer them here on CT then this is the section you must use - http://www.cointalk.com/f5/ And you need to follow the rules regarding those sections. Here are the rules - http://www.cointalk.com/t34131/
Thank you. I am trying to put together a short description of every folder, ring binder, and individual coin that I have. This will take several days then you'll start seeing the listings. I'll flag everyone on this thread too.
I'm saddened Zeke. I can't convey enough how sorry I feel for you at the moment. Stay the course my friend.
No, please do not post in this thread about your listings in the Advertising sections as that would be a violation of the forum rules. Just post what you are offering in the appropriate sections and people will have to find them on their own.
Have you ever sold on ebay? I'm not a huge fan of ebay, or their fees. But anything that doesn't sell here will probably move quickly over there. Sorry to hear you have to sell everything. Times are tough for alot of people, and I've been forced to part with a few coins myself in the past couple of years
Yes I have posted on Ebay with 50-50 results. I hope as many CT'ers will take advantage of my coins. It would give me a good feeling to know they went to members who love coins as much as I do.
