What are these worth?

I don't know anything about the value of old foreign currency or anything about money really for that matter. I have these two old bills, I think they're from Portugal but I could be wrong. I did some research but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Sorry about huge images, my phone just takes them like that.

It's a 50 and a 5 from what I believe is Portugal. The year on the 50 is 1941 and the year on the 5 is 1945. I'd be surprised if these were worth more than 5$.

They appear to be colonial notes for Mozambique which was a Portugeuse colonial possession in lower Africa. Kinda neat...

I'm no expert in this area, but reading the catalog these appear to be Mozambique (former Portuguese colony) P94 5 Escudos and P86 50 Escudos. Quite pricey in Unc condition, these are listed at $17.50 and $60 in VF condition in my 12th Ed Pick. Not sure they quite qualify as VF, but they're good notes!
