Wow it looks rough close up. This came out of my pocket change. Any thoughts?

I am not sure what you are seeing rottenapple2. But it looks like a weak strike and circulation wear.
What year is it? The missing 'T' could be from a grease filled die.

Its a 1988 p nickel. I looked at it under different directions of light. Sometimes it looks like its there n sometimes it don't. I was leaning towards it got wore down but its such a small letter nothing else is wore down that bad around it.

    Half Blank Jefferson Nickel ??

I recently came from food lion. I was handed back this in my change. I don't know what it is or where to look or even if it's real. The website will not let me post the attachment from my iPhone.

    Has anyone heard of this.
How can I tell if it's real or not?
Is there a price you can put on it?

There is no way to say anything without seeing a picture.
We don't know if you mean one side is blank, or half of each side is blank...

    Pictures are your only hope!
