I am having trouble convincing eBay that these should be pulled. Maybe if some others would also report them, some progress could be made. All are "Museum quality historical replica of ......" eBay policy specifically states; And I have been told many time this is a company wide policy and is not limited to USA. Here are the numbers. Pick a couple and go for it, please. 110911307381 110913616464 110904027380 110903971051 110903966420 110905986461 110913625219 110903964768 110918474287 110904040351 110913673639 110912618312 110913699065 110911306504 110911310047 110913644017 110912593752 110903972711 110918475146 110905993326 110903980975 110903062569 110913714097 110911307046 110913719028 110913678541 110911306239 110903994981 110911302832 110911311702 110918473253 110915005417 110913686729 110913639081 110912619144 110913602011 110914928106 110911306367 110911304103 110903962895 110903970433 110903063033 110904033299 110903062464 110912619277 110911306098 110911303263 110903967550 110911306135 110913648126 110914602244 110911305720 110904029243 110911308318 110918474082 110911305206 110913662420 110907344021 110915039713 110905990764 110915024902 110903964172 110912618357 110918479380 110911305335 110903973164 110904024085 110911304249 110904037550 110911303799 110903963247 110903963766 110903990850 110913657928 110918476319 110905981949 110911309142 110906077519 110911308692 110911307765 110911341263 110911330374 110914922799 110915028448 110918475630 110915000049 110918479835 110914991428 110912618490 110913690901 110904021308 110916829485 110913610352 110914965555 110915042350 110903971961 110913720866 110911304709 110903973905 110913629133

As I first stated, "Pick a couple and go for it, please." I have a bit of an edge on most for reporting, but I usually report those twice a day.

Are you using this eBay address: http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...3a46b6&rcode=c7d8e9c4b298eff616b2159d03a4ea35 I use it to report slabbed coins when the seller only shows one side of the slab of pre-1980 coins. It works EVERY time.
That's crazy. Based on the rules, I don't see how the seller is getting by with this. Maybe not having replica in the title of the listing? I'll report a few. Wonder if folks in the UK reported them would make a difference?
It doesn't matter if the seller says replica in the title or listing somewhere. eBay's updated policy on selling coins, currency, and stamps:
Not allowed Replica coins Counterfeit coins Counterfeit bank notes Counterfeit bonds Counterfeit money orders Counterfeit securities Equipment used to make counterfeit items Reproduction or replica versions of any Canadian currency Listings for raw single coins within the Coins: US category with a starting price, reserve price, or Buy It Now price of $2500 or more
You should create a database of found ebay auction ids and just automate the process of reporting them (perhaps make it report every 4 hours or so) until your script notices they were pulled or no longer available. What your asking is way too much manual work when it can all be automated.
Actually, you can report ten item numbers in one report. After you send the report for ten, click the browser back button, and paste ten new item numbers. Took me about 3 minutes to report the numbers in rlm's opening post.
So 3 minutes and then 3 minutes later in the day if you wanted to report them twice. If automated, could take milliseconds and people could spend more time finding more IDs to add to the database.
That tends to get them a bit upset. Been there and got the t-shirt. In fact, I think they even have some kind of program to ignore duplicate posts now.
When the same person gets umpteen emails from a single person, it tends to be rather obvious. BTW, there are only a couple/3 people taking care of coin reporting.
I agree this is ridiculous and needs to be stopped. The obvious problem is that the reporting you're doing is not working, regardless of the address being used. What can be done to aid this process?
The onliest answer I can come up with was for more people to report it - or maybe even someone from UK/Europe. I have spoken to several at eBay via their normal help line. Every one says they ought to be pulled, but they are not in this country so they cannot do it. Some suggested I log into eBay.uk and report it there. No help. I believe I am up to 3 who promised to get back to me, but I have not heard back from a single person yet, but I did get several email addresses. Maybe this was grasping at straws, but I thought maybe if many people would report them, they might be able to read into that they are not welcome. Maybe I am just tilting at the windmills. Won't know unless I try.
And thank you for your diligence in trying! I did report the ones from your latest list (easy to simply copy paste listing # into ebay's search bar). Maybe if other people will join us, we can get these pulled.
rlm... if you're not a member already, why don't you join the CFe Group? Be it as it may, this self-appointed band of numismatic brotherhood does, in fact, manage to get these type of listings cleaned up rather quickly.
