I got this star note from the bank today. It's not in perfect shape, visible crease in the lower right and down the center. Anyone have any idea what the value/grade of this note is? Thanks!
I'd call it VF at best. Might even be just F. Hard to tell from the provided picture and not being able to see the back to give you a good estimate on condition. That is however an excellent find from circulation! Where did you get that from? As for value, unfortunately I would have no idea. I checked eBay sold only, and oddly enough, none came up. Maybe some of our book works can give you a good idea on value.

Oddly enough I was returning coin from roll hunting and normally I ask for the cash in $2 bills because I have good luck with them (I also have a side market for these overseas). After they gave me all their 2's she gave me the rest in 20's and I saw her lay that one down and immediately tried to wipe the smile off my face. Just luck I guess, but for some reason I've been able to find a lot of notes lately that appear to have come from collections as of late.
Nice find, although in its condition, premium is only a few dolalrs. I'd still keep it if I were you.
