I am new to collecting. I am anxious to find out where I can get the statistics on how many Swiss 10 Francs and Swiss 20 Francs (both gold) have been graded. I realize that reflects on their value but I don't know what the magical list is even called? Or what to search for? AKK! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Or any other suggestions on collecting the Swiss coins. Thanks

Francly(sorry for the pun) a lot of the earlier coins are not graded because they are usually held by collectors in Europe. The earlier Helvetia coins are not collected as avidly in N. America as they are in Europe, and they tend to have a premium value to collectors that is in excess over melt value: The later "Swiss Miss" coins especially the 1935 and 1940's coins are defined as bullion because they were not created for coinage like this one: These earlier coins are usually numismatic, especially in high grade, and are not traded like bullion and largely not going to N. America to be graded. These two examples went to N. America to be loved and adored by their Master's Golden Lovelies Harem.

And thank you for the images Scottishmoney I have both versions, from the first year through the last. I'm trying to collect as complete of a set as I can. I have a complete set of the 10 franc coins. I love them all Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
In collecting these, I would recommend going with the earlier and overlooked Helvetias from the 19th century and the Swiss Misses of the early 20th century and avoiding the restruck 1935 and 1940's coins. It is possible to find nice, even very nice examples of these coins at not much over melt, and they have far more appeal than restruck coins.
